Ogeyi Place debuts with women’s month celebration
Le
Meridien Ogeyi Place, Port Harcourt organised a special women celebration,
where women could take a break from their busy schedules, get recognised, celebrate
together in commemoration of the International Women’s Day in March.
Over
60 notable Port Harcourt female guests converged at the hotel to enjoy a
special moment with LeMeridien Eclairs
and cocktails inhouse delight and a rendition of beautiful music Akuma Conference
Hall of the hotel.
The
maiden edition of the event came with the theme ‘Make up is a work of Art, centered
on the importance of women in the society while creating an avenue for young girls
to learn from the modest model of the women.
There
was equally a week-long of Le Meridien Brand style Unlock Art Exhibition which
unlocked Port Harcourt as a destination for travelers.
The
women who graced the occasion and their representatives include Mrs Oreva
Ogidi, CEO Oreva Initiative for Child Abuse; Mrs Izobe Spiff, CEO TresBien
Events’ Ivy Davies Etokakpan,
CEO Eve Afique Magazine; Kalannine Ebiye-Koripamo, CEO Kayge Cosmestic; Keseina
Anyebe, CEO BeYou Magazine; Pastor Yemisi Ugoh, The Kings Assemble; Pastor Emem
Larry, House on the Rock; Koko Kanlago,ounder, Rainbow Book Club.
The
Area Communications Manager, Starwood Hotel and Resort, Nigeria Ms Nanji Tyem,
the Director of Revenue Le Meridien Ogeyi Place, Ms Nengi Minakiri as well as
the current Miss Rivers State Beauty Pageants contestants were also in attendance.
